Midwest Canine Rescue and Referral List
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS PARAGRAPH. This is an updated list for purebred rescue. If you know of a purebred rescue not on this list, please give me a call, and I will make sure it gets on the next list. The names on this list are all volunteers. They are working with foster homes and availability of space. The money spent to spay/neuter, vaccinate and any other costs is money out of their pockets, donations, and adoption fees. They rescue the purebred their name is under. Do not call them with a mixed breed. Please use the all breed rescue contacts listed below.
The breeds that have national phone numbers are willing to help you locate someone closer to Minnesota. But they are networking strictly from their membership roster. People listed as referrals only are just that. They will help with placement, education, or netowrking. They will not come and pick up the dog. The shelters and impound facilities are doing a great job using this list. Once again, thank you for making a difference for a homeless animal.
